I picked that much up.  We had alsa in the 8.2 kernel also, no? Or you're
wanting the latest alsa I guess.
Yes, I want to give the lastes alsa a try. I'm hoping that it will support something like multi-channel for the Awacs so that more than one applicaton can use the sound-chip at once.

Yes. That's already been discussed that you can't use the cooker-ppc tree
as it stands now, as the installer portion of the tree is not up-to-date,
even with 8.2.

You need to either urpmi the new packages, or put together your own ISOs
using the cooker RPM tree and the installer/kernel pieces from 8.2. 

Sorry - I can't put together ISOs of cooker-ppc.
I was not asking about ISOs!!!!! My question was how can I do on myself because the script on the cooker do not work. And I've tried to modify them to fit my system. I only want to know how to use the scripts included (because I cannot install the cooker via [A]DSL nor via hard disk).
