Yes, I want to give the lastes alsa a try. I'm hoping that it will support something like multi-channel for the Awacs so that more than one applicaton can use the sound-chip at once.On 9 Aug 2002, Stephan Haller wrote: > The question for 2.5 kernel is for the alsa integration. I'm not able to I picked that much up. We had alsa in the 8.2 kernel also, no? Or you're wanting the latest alsa I guess.
I was not asking about ISOs!!!!! My question was how can I do on myself because the script on the cooker do not work. And I've tried to modify them to fit my system. I only want to know how to use the scripts included (because I cannot install the cooker via [A]DSL nor via hard disk).> install the cooker via FTP or from hard disk. So I needed to do this question or can you (Stew) to make > cooker CDs. None of these scripts helped e! > Yes. That's already been discussed that you can't use the cooker-ppc tree as it stands now, as the installer portion of the tree is not up-to-date, even with 8.2. You need to either urpmi the new packages, or put together your own ISOs using the cooker RPM tree and the installer/kernel pieces from 8.2. Sorry - I can't put together ISOs of cooker-ppc.
