Retain mdkinst_stage2.bz2 and rescue_stage2.bz2 from 8.2 and replace: depslist.ordered hdlist1.cz hdlists synthesis.hdlist1.cz >From the cooker tree, along with all the contents of "RPMS". You would build this all on a local hard drive or local server, then boot from the 8.2 CD and initiate an HD or network install.
Now I found the time to create the ISOs myself. I prefer the second way you told but it creates only the second CD. The first one is not done but the scripts tells me that many many files are discarded because of something! Any idea or any script for building rpmslist?2) Make a directory of the 8.2 CD contents (CD#1). Replace RPMS with those of cooker. You may need to edit rpmslist. cd misc ./mkcd_ppc.pl ../ some_place_to_put_new_isos
