Frozen on startup

I finally made sense of Stew's directions and I was able to figure out how to move the partition size to make the room needed for the apple bootstrap. The rest of the install took time but it worked. I'd still be stuck on this without a clue from Stew and Ben. Thanks.

I got the machine to boot and I did the firmware update which i was surprised did not need me to use the little "programmers" hole on the side of the imac that was made for sticking the paperclip into in order to update firmware.

Now it's freezing on the bootup at the time where it gets to checking for the internet connections. It finds "exceptions in the Kernel" and i have a suspicion that it does not mean anything about popcorn. There is a lot of jiberish and something called a callback trace then some stuff that looks like hex to me.

What to do, what to do, what to do?
