Need a few more details. What kind of machine? I don't expect you to type in the whole error message, but some bit that might tell me what module is attempting to be loaded or something would be good. You might try booting in single user mode and see if at least the kernel itself is stable on that machine (haven't seen any reports of other behavior on modern machines, some of the old ones are troublesome) linux single at the boot: prompt BTW, is this 8.2 or 8.0 or cooker?
