Forgot about that one.  I don't see anything in my kernel config enabling
this, in fact it looks like something that has to be patched into the
kernel, looking at these pages.

I suspect maybe you have ipvsadmin installed and it's init script is
generating that error?

Is this something folks feel I should try to patch into the benh kernel?

Hmm, I'll have to look at the mandrake kernel dri and see if it's newer
and if it can be wedged into the benh version.
