And yes you can patch benh's kernel relatively easily, I've done it several times (all the 2.4.19 and some of the 20pre), because mandrake kernel (didn't try the new ones) were not booting (the fb for my radeon was not working at all, slowly transforming the black screen into a green one). But I couldn't have DRI working (I didn't try with the new X version yet) on my 16VRAM ibook (last august model) Brice
