That's just a warning. No damage caused by that. However, the "what I put in for host/domain during install is lost" is another thing that needs to be addressed. The other issue is a matter of your preference being different than the developers. I personally would not change it, but if you can present a convincing enough argument, maybe you can get the maintainer to do so. I'll still recommend against you though.
