------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-13 23:47 ------- I haven't really done my bootsplash homework. So you're saying that the splash theme picture files are corrupted, as opposed to something like certain video cards or resolutions not being supported by the ones delivered with the 9.1 install ? ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: This is a 9.0 issue that has survived to today's cooker. I have 3 systems on which I install cookers. Under 9.0, two of them had graphical bootup and the other one booted in character mode even though I specified graphical, giving a console message "Looking for splash picture - no good signature found". Now under 9.1, one of the systems that booted graphically under 9.0 gets this error as well. It's getting worse.... What controls this ? Is it an install bug, or is there some non-intuitive way for the user to control/correct this ?
