Well here is my take. I installed the sblive after I had already put mandrake
9.1 on the system. For it to work I had to manually select it anyway since
for some reason it only wanted to find the motherboard sound which I shut
completely off in the bios.
Now after I got it working it worked fine until I rebooted. and then for some
reason well it simply does not work. On a side note just to test apci=off and
noapic make no difference.
In my case also the mixer settings have nothing to do with it and just to
check I went back to the mixer settings and turned allmost all of them to
max. Still nothing.
