framedrop by default is maybe OK, but fullscreen by default is really bad.  You 
specify a different dimension (-xy 2 for instance) and it ignores it.  This is really 
bad.  It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't do that.  I've heard from people that this 
badly affects mplayer GUI mode too.
