I don't understand that comment.... so Cooker, when it starts to stabalize,
doesn't go to a distro tree?

two new beta iso files? Remember that in the infinite wisdom* of
some decision maker in MandrakeSoft the Cooker tree is no longer the
distribution vehicle for the 7.1 beta.

ftp.free.fr and tucows are the only places with the iso image
files. Neither has an rsync server, so the only iso file update
method is by total replacement.
Result: beta testing rendered impractical, except for those lucky
people who can download 1GB from a non-local slow mirror for every
change.
Action: beta testing has stopped until the problem is solved, or the
Cooker tree is reinstated as the formal exclusive 7.1 beta
distribution tree.
