If people want to toss uw (you seem to have strong feelings in this area), I don't have any religious devotion to it, I'm just trying to maintain the package. David Walser raised another issue with the new proposed scheme. If one updates uw, and it doesn't move to ~/whatever, and updates squirrelmail, which now expects ~/whatever, then what happens?
