Most liekly you didn't read my post with the proper atention.
Mandrake 9.1 has a bug that is still present in 9.2
And i *don't have to install unofficial packages*.
Mandrake should solve the bug.
I am a member of Mandrake Club, just to give my contribution to mandrake.
I expect Mandrake addresses the clients problems with proper care.
With 9.1 i spent 17 euros in a paid incident just to receive back a bunch of
hint like if i was some linux moron.

Regards,
Mrio Gamito

Well, it seems that unfortunately there are cross-versions bugs.
As in Mandrake 9.1, in an HP Omnibook XE3 with a Intel 830M video card, X
crashes the machine when logging out to terminal.

It is a documented bug ( http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2741 ), it
is reported several times in the web and newsgroups (example:
http://groups.google.pt/groups?q=Mandrake+omnibook+xe3+9.1&hl=pt-PT&lr=&ie=UTF-
8&oe=UTF-8&selm=32ee77b6.0303280308.6fc5cb44%40posting.google.com&rnum=4 ) but
no one seems to care.

When of 9.1, i even spent 17 euros in a paid incident for nothing.
No one solved this mistery.

So, in Mandrake 9.2 it seems that me and all the folks owning this video card
will have to stick with this bug, right ?

Please, don't make me retun to SuSE where there is no such problem.

Warm Regards,
Mrio Gamito
