i refreshed lvm versions at http://percy.comedia.it/~bluca/cooker/lvm2 i also added a modified initrd there, which adds lvm2 support, changes md behaviour (will load only what is needed) and fixes some bugs unrelated to lvm. i would like to remove raidautorun from initrd and include mdadm, since it is by far more solid and will support things like raid0+1.
i also included a patch for mkinitrd to use mdadm if present instead of raid(name your broken version here), and support lvm2.
i believe all of this can go in 9.2, could someone please comment on this? please? please?
