Hello,
Please could someone tell me which files I need to adjust to get the following
default settings back. The following are text descriptions of graphic output so
please bear with me !
1) The KDE menus used to show things like :
Applications |>
Configuration |>
etc
But for sometime now all I get is
Applications |
Configuration |
etc
until I put the mouse over the menu item then the '>' reappears and the full
arrow is shown in its depressed state.
2) Applications such as gFTP used to show it trees as follows:
- ftp2.sunet.se
| |_ emacs-20.7-3mdk......
| |_ emacs-X11........
+ ....
After installing the latest Helix code this chaged to
\/ ftp2.sunet.se
> emacs-20.7-3mdk.....
> emacs-X11.....
> .....
Having now gone back to the latest Mandrake gnome files it has chaged to:
- ftp2.sunet.se
| | emacs-20.7-3mdk....
| | emacs-X11........
+ .....
This happens in all Gnome GTK apps. that display trees apart from a few that
display the correct lines but they are dotted. From this I deduce that the tree
connecting lines are configurable, but presumably only by hand !
I have looked in loads of rc files for these offending configurations but I have
not succeeded.
Please help, as this is winding me up !
