I am using Mandrake Linux, Java JDK 1.2.2 and have configured Postgresql 7.0-1.2C, However I am unable to connect to the Database server from JAVA using JDBC no matter what I try. Can someone who is already using this platform (JAVA-Linux-Postgre) help me. Maybe send a small working example? I have installed PostgreSql Server, the JDBC & ODBC from RPM's. I have copied the Postgres7.jar to the current default class path too. Thanks SUNIL GUPTA LINK WORLD
