Thanks for your message. I've flashed my BIOS to v1.4 and nothing
changed. Then I've finally sorted out the problem : it is caused by my
Seti@Home client running in the background (nice set to 19). Very odd.
BTW : this problem is already reported in Bugzilla at
http://opensource.creative.com.
Thanks again to make me see that the driver was ok... =)
