Although I mostly agree with you David, I want to point out that Cooker is
not intended for day to day use. If you want day to day use you should use
the last official release 7.1, or if you need the newer stuff 7.2beta.

The purpose of Cooker is for testing and experimenting. It has always been
said that you use Cooker at your own risk because it could be broken at any
time. The pre 7.2 stability honeymoon period is over! :)
