Hello everybody on Cooker!

Advise is needed...
I got answer from Compaq - in general it can be translated like _fu$k off_
What makes me laughing is sentence: "Presario does not support Linux"
Hell, am I blind? What is on my screen, if not Linux?!!

I uncluded messages as attachements.
And, I don't want to leave it "as is". I paid money, not small amount, and
they can't treat their customers in a way listed below.
Suggestions?

Dear Plessky,

The Presario product line is marketed and intended for home users, and is
designed to run under the Windows 95 operating system. Presario does not
support Linux . Presario drivers for devices such as modems and soundcards
may not be available under Linux.

I'd like to note that form on your site has bug, and under Windows 98 it
instantly was offering me to "Debug" your page (I had MS Visual Studio
installed)
I am writing you this mail from Linux/KDE2, but posted form from Windows.

My wish, as Compaq customer:
please improve Linux support from Compaq side. It is very hot technology
with growing market share. Unfortunately, I have found no Linux-specific
support pages on your site (if not to count some server-specific info, whish
was not relevant to Presario product range at all).
Information should not be server-specific or desktop-specific.
I am successfuly running Mandrake Linux on my Compaq Presario notebook, and
it just proves that Linux can be successfuly used on Desktop. As well as
server (I have Apache server running on my notebook as well)

Hope to get answer on ATI driver with TV-out feature, hardware 3D
acceleration and 2nd monitor support soon.
