[Cooker] kmatrix screensaver from kdebase 2.0 source did compile eventually

No thanks to the documentation, nor to the configure script,
nor even to the top-level makefile.

I had to manually tell make to build the .moc files one by one
There is NO rule in the top level makefile to tell the build
process to make these recursively.

Clearly I'm missing something very important here.

Given that there are LOTS of emails flying around this list
it seems plausible that people who might otherwise be able to
help with this are just skipping past my message...
Oh well, that ought to provoke a response if anyone who knows anything
about compiling KDE is reading this...
