Are you, now? How, pray tell, did you get (1) your monitor to do 1265 
FPS and at what resolution, and (2) your eyes to perceive over a 
thousand frames per second? (-:

I'm looking forward to the promised 1000DPI monitors (on a 17" monitor 
that's about a gigabyte of screen RAM - per page, if you're 
page-flipping!) but I didn't know about monitors that can do 100x the 
top frame rate (at 640x480) of my current monitor. (-:
