I tried the latest cooker xsane package. But only with partial success.
I figured out that I had a mistake in hp.conf. But that's not the reason that
I do not have full success.
First I connected my scanner via scsi and later on via USB. In both cases
xsane shows the same behavour: It starts and I can take a preview scan.
But when I try to get the final scan it sometimes works but mostly stops with
an error like "error while reading: error during device IO"
Have you an idea what is the reason?
