it works very fine for me (color, bw, 300, 1200 dpi).
got only one time the I/O error. it is not a xsane error. it must come
from the scanner or driver. i can't reproduce it with a small c prog
where i directly access the scann. perhaps synchro pb. i am still
inspecting that..
