I suppose this goes back to my problems/bug report.
Yves, I would say yould not investigate this problem since now xsane works
okay with the USb scanner HP 63000c.
Maybe the problems came from the fact that I first tried the scanner via SCSI
and later via USB. But since using it from WIn2k as USB scanner the problems
disappeared also with LM8.0.
