And I love this : have the opportunity to edit everything by hand from CLI. That's why for example I'd rather have a text human readable /proc instead of a binary one ( http://lwn.net/2001/1108/kernel.php3 ) > > > 4/ if there was a very easy console text editor installed by default, > > when I will tell someone to modify a file, I will just tell it : > > "my_simple_editor file_to_modify". So i'd rather see a minimal editor like pico/nano or joe. At this time it's vi whic is include by default, I'd like to see another one so that I know that when I tell someone to launch it I'm sure that this editor is installed and that I will not have to explain how to use urpmi or install a rpm by hand ( easy but "painfull" for me ). -- http://perso.wanadoo.fr/linux_wizard/index.html - L'erreur est humaine mais un veritable desastre necessite un ordinateur !
