  I've had that happen with URPMI but not with apt-get. However, this is 
unstandable considering that dpkg seems to be built in a way that makes this 
a lot easier than what the Mandrake Developers had to work with to create 
URPMI.

  Yeah, menudrake is on it's way. I sent one of the developers the menudrake 
source code, and menudeb is coming to a FTP site near you. <g>
