  I agree. However, in concern to Debian, it's just good old Free Software 
for Linux, so I don't think I'd compare it to TRS-DOS software just because 
it isn't Mandrake. 
  Just for everyone's benefit, let me say something - "Debian isn't junk, 
it's very good, it's open source, it's Linux." Okay, I've said it, take it 
how you will. IMO, one of the major problems with people of all Linux distro 
communities is they have to insist that every other distro is trash. I've 
seen this in the Mandrake, SuSE, RedHat, and Debian communities. There are 
more important things to do then find the flaws in other distos (i.e. like 
learning what they do good, and using that to your advantage).
