Sorry for entering this discussion late, but what exactly are the symptoms? Is it isolated to the smbmount command? Do I need to worry if I use Mandrake as an smb server serving shares to Win clients? And would it affect libsmbclient, which KDE3 uses for its smb io-slave? Regards, Mattias
