For your personal use - edit /etc/security/msec/perm.local /var/log/dss dss.dss 600 (or whatever permissions) If you want to make these changes in your RPM - it is hard to do currently. Something like /usr/share/msec/perm.d springs in mind where packages can drop there changes. The main problem is how to deal with duplicates. -andrej
