I think this is a legitimate complaint.
Extending the time, however, is proposing a solution along with your requirements. What else can be done ? Sounds like a corporate issue. For example, work out deals with strategic partners so beta CD's could be available in ... places ... like ... walmart ... compusa ... any popular chain thing ... The point is that there is more than one way to solve this problem and this is a legitimate problem.
