I have some code in rpmdrake to present the list of mirrors
sorted according to the country where they are, so that the
closest to your timezone are presented first. You can find this
dialog in the Sources Editor, when trying to add a Security
Source and selecting "Choose a mirror...".
The mapping to countries is made by the TLD found in the URL;
thus, I need exceptions for com/net/org which are not in the US.
Currently, here is the list:

'planetmirror.com' => 'au');
If you ever notice that there are more errors, please report them
to me (hopefully, http://www.linux-mandrake.com/mirrorsfull.list
has only a limited number of URL's so there should not be many,
and even planetmirror is not there yet).
