Hello Warly and others:
I think bug reports should contain, at a minimum, the rpm package and
the ISO version of mandrake (beta 3, RC1, etc.). That is in the upper
left hand corner of the e-mail it should give the output of rpm -q
package or rpm -qf /path/to/package.
Also it may be a good Idea to have a sign up sheet, poll or "to do"
list where people can designate which apps they will test. That way no
packages are left untested and redundant bug reports are not filed from
over tested packages. Something like the polling schemes, in Mandrake
Club, on a web page:
Package No. of testers already
Nautilus 18
Open office 11
Kword 3
and so on
That is people click on the apps they intend to test and a poll is then
generated showing how many folks intend to test that app.
