Tex and myself recompiled almost the whole distro for athlon and well we
decided not to do it anymore the performance was negligible. Worse yet
mandrakes build environment did not work quite correctly. If we tried to use
the autobuild stuff it would start working away but there were quite a few
packages that either have to be rebuilt by hand or simply wont build without
patching them.
I might add here that I really don't know c++ or c. I can compile allot of
things but when it comes to patching broken builds I'm not to much use for
anybody.
Anyway we got probably 95% of the distro redone and there really was not nay
difference worth mentioning.
