I still think gurpmi should be the default action for rpms because 1) it's mandrakes default app for installing rpm's
Again, you're still assuming someone clicking an RPM wants to install it.
2) "It is smaller, faster, and will resolve dependencies." as stated above
3) kpackage would still be available in the "Open With" context for users to
simply see the files if wanted
you have to remember...you are thinking too much as a sys admin. there are LOTS
of users out there who just use mandrake as a single desktop.
Why can't just the Konqueror Super User Mode do gurpmi then?
