Blindauer's solution works, but is is a pain in the b.. doing text install ;-) I also tried de previous version of MDK 9.1 beta3? and the kernel problem doesn't occur. I still can't install MDK because the screen goes black (the installation stuff works because I can see the SCSI autodetection led's and some HDD activity). This is a 1024MB problem, on 512 I just get the "normal" screen and installation stuff. This is a showstopper for the installation! Tried on 2 setups: P4 2.5 with ati 9700 Asus p4pe and AMD 2000+ with nvidia ti4600 Asus a7v8x. Both motherboards (after previous failure) flashed with the newest (beta) Bios -> Same problem. Same setup with 512 MB works just fine. CU PacMan
