------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-06 07:55 -------
Nothing relevant in the log files or in ~/.xsession-errors. I have no
screenshot but can easily describe: there was one panel, at the bottom of the
screen. It had NOTHING in it. There was no other panel. In Mdk 9.0 (that is,
before the upgrade to 9.1RC2), I had the default layout - panel above and below,
with menu, clock, on the top, and taskbar down the bottom.

I was able to add the appropriate items by right clicking on the panel.

I am sorry but I do not know what else to add without further guidance.

Damon

Hi,

When I logged into Gnome for the 1st time upon upgrading from 9.0 to 9.1 RC2,
the Gnome panel had nothing on it - no menu, nothing. Upon adding all the
relevant options, they functioned as expected.

Thanks and best wishes,
Damon
