------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-07 07:11 ------- Frederic, yes I had modified the default panel configuration when I used 9.0 (it is my work machine). I had added many launcher icons, and system monitor (network and CPU). Otherwise it was straight 9.0. I did your suggestion: the result was a single bottom panel, with expected launchers as provided by Mandrake, including menu. The term "MandrakeLinux" as "start menu" was replaced by the gnome foot. So this seems normal. A guess: perhaps I had a non-standard launcher (icon choice or application choice) in my previous config that caused the upgrade to choke on it??? For instance I had a launcher for viavoice dictation for linux (yes, people do use that even though its not very good :-) Thanks and best wishes, Damon ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: Hi, When I logged into Gnome for the 1st time upon upgrading from 9.0 to 9.1 RC2, the Gnome panel had nothing on it - no menu, nothing. Upon adding all the relevant options, they functioned as expected. Thanks and best wishes, Damon
