That seems to work now that I've switched to Final. I also change them by going into "Get New Themes" under the theme menu under the view menu. That seems to work, too, if I pick from the list presented. I've noticed, though, that downloading a new theme and checking the box that says use this theme, does not always work and upon restarting Mozilla, I need to select it manually from the list. My original problem was that downloading themes wouldn't work at all, but that has been resolved in Final and changing themes wouldn't actually change. That, too, has been fixed with Final (but I had to delete my ~/.mozilla directory before it would).
