Steve, It would be wonderful if ILA would also stock the electric
French press pot (available via Cooking.com), as well. It isn't made
specifically for people with disabilities, but it is super safe and
makes a great pot of coffee!

markets it, but I'm on my 3rd such pot (after dropping and breaking
2), and my family loves it!
