2 eggs
2 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. heavy cream
Pinch salt
1/4 tsp. vanilla or brandy
Flour

Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add sugar, cream, salt and flavorings. Add flour to make dough. Roll thin and cut into diamond shapes. Fry in hot oil
until light brown.

This is a Norwegian cookie made traditionally at Christmas time.kind of a
fried dough affair.  But I don't really know the proper spelling.  I have
heard my hhusband calling them, Fattamanabackles or just Backles. The older
members of the Hansen family are now gone, and I don't have the recipe.
