Andrew,
Twice? I am not willing to go through the experience twice! (And,
if you did it, I have no trouble imagining that I would too!)
Who makes the recharageable electric knife, do you remember?
I think I will look for that model.
And, does it hold a charge long enough to disassemble a whole loaf of
bread or a pork tenderloin?
Thanks. Happy cooking and carving!
Penny

hi paul, penny and anyone else interested.
I've had exactly the same experience as Penny with cutting through
the cord of an electric knife.
in fact, not being contented with only one bang and flash, i had to
repeat the experience again a
year or two later. i now have a rechargeable cordless knife which i
wouldn't be without. My advice
for anyone looking at purchasing one of these is to try and go for a
cordless model. just my
thoughts.
Cheers
Andrew
