i just use it with great care. Fortunately, most of the time I use the
knife is when i'm cutting
bread. I have a plastic box with slots in it for cutting bread. The
knife goes in the slots and
cuts slices off the loaf.

year or two later. i now have a rechargeable cordless knife which i
wouldn't be without. My advice
for anyone looking at purchasing one of these is to try and go for a
cordless model. just my
thoughts.
