Thanks all for the responses. I put them in the fridge after I found them.
Going to open them tonight, have a smell and go from there.
I will likely end up throwing them out anyhow to be safe.

Okay, I had my girlfriend take a couple steaks out of the freezer on
Sunday
evening. They were those vacuum packaged steaks. She set them ontop of
the
counter to thaw. She forgot about them and I did not find them until
Monday
night.
They were out [still in vacuum package of course] but they were out for
about 28 hours or so.
Will they be harmful to cook now?
