Brittany,

I browned the chicken breasts on each side, for 20 minutes.
I did not season the chicken; my other half did, but he usually uses a mixture of Lawry's season salt and maybe, a little pepper or lemon pepper.
I cooked them on medium heat.

Hi Claudia,
I'm really excited to hear about this chicken frying venture, because I've been wanting some fried chicken for a long time but have been nervous about making it. I do have a question though. When you said you cooked three chicken breasts in a covered skillet for 20 minutes...did you mean 20 minutes on each side, or did you mean 10 minutes on each side, because you said you cooked them for sabout 20 minutes. Also, about what temperature did you cook them on, medium or high or low? My last question is, you said you breaded the seasoned chicken breasts in seasoned bread crumbs and egg, how did you season the chicken breasts before you dipped them in the batter, what seasoning did you use? I'm really interested in trying this out, I think my husband and I would love something like this, so if you wouldn't mind answering all these questions, I'd really appreciate it and I'd really like to try it. Thanks so much.
Brittany

Hi All,

Last night, I made fried chicken, for the first time, and it was very tasty! I first breaded the seasoned chicken, by coating it with egg and coating with seasoned bread crumbs! I then placed 3 chicken breasts in a large skillet, that I'd coated lightly with vegetable oil, and I cooked each chicken breast, for about 20 minutes, on each side. The pan was covered, so I think this helped retain the moisture in the chicken. It almost tasted as if I'd used Shake N Bake on the chicken. We served this with white rice & corn, to our son, and he absolutely loved it! I'm pretty exstatic because we'd never reallr attempted frying chicken before! Our son even said that it tasted like "Grammas" chicken, so that was an even bigger boost for me because both grammas make excellent chicken.
Just thought I'd share!
