Here's a recipe that I concocted a couple of years ago and have never tried making any other cookies since. You can use recess pieces, m&m's, chocolate chips, what yeer you want. Although, I'm not sure how you would make it into a sugar cookie.
1 12 oz package of chocolate chips (or the biger packages of recess pieces or m&m's if that's what you decide to use) 2 cups of self rising flour 1 and 1/4 cups sugar 1 stick b utter - melted 2 eggs 1 and a 1/2 teaspoons vanila 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. in a medium to large sized mixing bowl, sift together flour, sugar, and chocolate chips. 3. mix in t he butter, eggs, and vanila. Mix well. If the dough is too dry, add a bit of oil. 4. Make 1 inch balls and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet Space the balls about an inch and a half to 2 inches apart. 5. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Let cookies cool for one minute on the cookie sheet after removing from oven and then use a spacula to get the cookies off the sheet and onto a plate to finish cooling. These cookies never burn and always taste great.
