Hi Claudia, I do a try out batch. It's recommended to do that anyways, then for the second batch, make the changes you need to, including if you need to bake them for longer. I read some of the tips people are giving you, and they are things lots of sighted people do too. I know it sounds weird, but if you walk out of the kitchen and then go back in in a few minutes, you can to judge by the smell. If you have the tendency to burn them or something, bake them for the least amount of time recommended. Those cookies are better anyways, especially if the oven was hot for a while before you put them in. Hope that helped. Jael
