I will try that. Have you ever added any kind of yogurt to a cake? I was
thinking that might work also.

Nancy I would add sour cream, to the cake you are making from scratch
just as you can do to a cake mix some time and that makes them moist and

I am looking for a recipe for a really moist white or yellow cake from
scratch. I want to make this for someone's birthday. I also would like a
recipe for white icing. I make scratch cakes from time to time but some
of them aren't as moist as cake mix cakes. Does anyone else have that
problem with making scratch cakes? If so, let me know what you do to help
