You don't need to turn it when you use the ring.

It might. Instead of a tuna can I'd use a can from the large cans of
shredded chicken so you at least got it up to "hotcake" size The problem is
going to be adhesion. Eggs have fairly flimsy structure in the white, so
when you flip them their weight pulls the edges away from the can. For
pancakes the structure is stronger, and you'd probably need to do something
to free the pancake from the edge of the ring.

Hi, everyone.

Would the ring method y'all describe for eggs work the same way for
pancakes?

I realize it would make pancakes small, but would it work?

Thanks,

Becky

Grease a tuna can with the top and bottom taken out so it's just a ring. Put
in frying pan. Pour egg into it. It cooks fried eggs nice and hard if you
want. That's how I like mine as well.

I like my eggs fried harder than sunny side up. My problem is always getting

the other side cooked hard enough.

Interesting approach...

How about scrambled eggs, anyone? :)

Hi all.
I can get away with frying eggs by melting a bit of butter in a pan,
cracking the egg and dropping it into the pan, waiting two minutes then
putting a lid on the pan, turning the stove off. I leave it on the burner,
proceed to make my toast and by the time my toast is done the egg is sunny
side up to perfection.
HTH,
Christina
