SOFT SUGAR COOKIES
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Cream butter and sugar; add egg, vanilla, and milk. Add baking powder,
flour, and salt. Drop 1 teaspoon dough on cookie sheet; press top of cookie
with
glass, dipped in sugar, once or twice depending on amount of sugar you want
on cookie. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes. Do not over bake and cookie
will be soft.
