Cabbage/Polish Sausage Casserole 1 large head cabbage 1 pound polish sausage 2 cups chicken broth 1/2 sticks butter 2 medium onions 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut up cabbage and place in large pot. Cover with water, place on stove top and bring to a boil. Let cabbage boil for 5 minutes. Remove cabbage from heat. Chop up onions, slice polish sausage, melt butter in a skillet, the place onion and sausage in skillet. Sauté until onions are tender. Drain cabbage and place in a large cassarole dish. Pour sausage and onions over cabbage. Pour salt and caraway seeds over mixture, then pour broth over mixture.
